Roy does so many things wrong in the ring, but gets away with it purely based on his athleticism. Mayweather hands down is the more skilled boxer. Bhop is the most educated in that 15 years.

Michael Jordan Vs Magic Johnson. Magic was more skilled, and considered a better thinker. Jordan had the athletic ability and the killer instict. Both were world champions...who was better? Hard to pick for me, but I did enjoy seeing Jordan at his peak more...Roy is Jordan.

If it's between Mayweather and Jones, Mayweather and it's not close.

I voted for Floyd as far as "boxing skill/talent" whatever you wanna call it. As far as "Physical Talent" is concerned then Roy clearly holds the edge.

I think that Roy was so athletic that people downplay his skill set. He didn't jab a lot, but he through every other punch a person could in no way anyone else could. So to just play him small and to say that anyone who was an athlete could do what he did...and that's false. You can't teach the **** he was doin, that's just natural skill and ability.

Jones was a better fighter imo. Whatever you want to attribute that to doesn't matter to me, he had superior ability all things considered.

RRJ by far, Roy would toy with his opponents, Roy's physical talent and unconventional skills made him more dominant than Floyd could ever dream of. He was also a better rapper :yep But ill give Floyd this, he is the better dancer of the two he looked light as a fiddle in dancing with the stars.

Mayweather is the more rounded fighter in terms of defense and pure skill.

He would not lose, in the manner than RJ has done, althoughthey are both at the top of the All timers!!!!!

Jones was a greater fighter than Mayweather.

Mayweather is a better all-rounder, but he was not on the same level as Jones in terms of talent and effectiveness.

Sugar Ray Leonard was a better all-rounder than Sugar Ray Robinson or Roberto Duran or Willie Pep, he was more complete and more versatile than those three, but that isn't the same thing as being a more skilled or talented fighter IMO.

I wish people could free themselves from this reductive mindset that skill/talent = slick boxing skills, elusive counterpuncher, and great variety. Infighting and swarming, if done correctly with the right tactics and the right balance on offence and defence, is every bit as skilled as slick boxing. As was Jones's style at his peak. Hopkins and Toney both failed to work him out. His mobility, his accuracy, his array of punches - the guy was truly one of the greatest fighters ever h2h IMO. A cut above Floyd, even though peak Floyd was sensational too.

    JMHO :good

    I go with Roy..

    World champ for 10 years+ p4p for 10 years.

I think its BS that Jones was just a great athlete...he only lost @ 35 and after making history( 1st fighter in history to move back down from heavy to win title)...u saw what happened to chris Byrd when he tried to move down.

Mayweather is exceptional though.....but is it out of the question Floyd gets beat befor ehes 35?
