Indeed it didnt , that was made it so funny the look on his ace after the third one , the first two he seemed to take but yeah the last one had him on ***** street. What a star tho
Muhammad Ali, the original & best, unsurpassed. Loved it in the 1st Frazier fight when Ali lay on the ropes taking solid blows & just kept flicking his gloves off Joe`s face with no power at all.... he lost the fight because of silly things like that but who else in the world could have had the nerve to pull **** like that in the biggest fight in boxing history. Ali also let Bob Foster hit him clean on the chin about 4 times, pretending to wobble.... then KO`s Bob with a combo for his cheek, great stuff.
No one taunted his opposition to the severity of Roy Jones....Talking and shuffling Ala Muhammad Ali mixed with Crip walks, walking away and suddenly springing attack, Crip Walking, he did the whole Nine. the most confortable fighter I have seen in a boxing ring.
Roy Jone's entire fight against Lacy was a taunt fest. The "watch this" followed by five blistering left hooks or a ten punch combination. And who can forget the "kangaroo hop" he did for Danny Green in attendance. Lacy looked pretty damn embarassed with RJJ hoppin with him during a clinch. Other classic taunts: Roy cocking his right arm like a shotgun against John Ruiz before popping him with a right hand Leonard's Ali shuffle and simultaneous bolo wind up. Then the bolo wind up then whipping jab that convinced Duran enough was enough in the rematch Johnny Tapia's "macho man" puffed up chest taunt Roberto Duran's "GTFOH" dismissive wave of the glove to Leonard after many of the rounds in their first fight Max Baer's bowing to Primo Carnera in between his vicious volleys on the helpless giant James Toney's "foot taunt" against John Ruiz Bernard Hopkins' stuck out tongue and shoulder dance taunt against Jermain Taylor in their first fight
