Agreed... I just read it last month & it was a really interesting book. Very straight-to-the point & it also had some humor. I loved how Larry would often start a new paragraph off with the word 'Whatever.' Honestly, it was a great read.
No Ordinary Joe by Joe Calzaghe is an excellent read. Great boxing insight and lots of information on training / fitness for boxing. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Joe Frazier's biography. Title escapes me. Hands of Stone (about Roberto Duran). Facing Ali. Facing Tyson. Shadow Box Going The Distance (Kenny Norton's book.)
Correctamundo:good that one is quite easy to get hold of, his proper bio, not so much. Got the Arcel book the other day, looks good, loads of photos in it
Have you read "Son, it ain't your night, we've gone for the price on Chomsky in the 3rd" by Blackie Smalls? It's the unofficial biography of Kenny Bugger.
Yeah, that's the one . The one I mentioned is actually the title of Chapter 9. Sad, awful story. The time when trainer Blackie Smalls poisoned Kenny's mug of Horlicks so he missed his date with Hedy Lamarr makes me cry every time. :-(
