Ok so I had a quick look at my book collection and noticed I have no books on boxing! So I had a quick look online but there was so many I could have hundreds of pounds in the space of 5 mins.

So just to get an idea, I was wondering what is your favourite boxing book, and which you would recommended. I hear the ODLH 1 is a good read. Any others that are a must have for a diehard fan?

    Cheers guys

I didnt like the ODLH one to be honest.

First ones I really liked were Hands of Stone and Four Kings, about Duran and then Duran/Leonard/Hagler/Hearns.

    Great reads.

The Boxing Register is the place to start. Covers all of the fighters in the Hall of Fame and gives bios for each.

Another great one for everything generally in boxing is The Ulitmate Encyclopedia of Boxing by Harry Mullan and Bob Mee. It covers everything about the sport with short biographies of hundreds of world champions, coverage of the greatest fights in of all time, the early history of boxing, history of all the world titles and plenty of trivia about the sport. Best boxing book ive ever bought id say
