Dark Trade by Donald McRae is excellent. I quite like The Last Great Fight by Joe Layden, its about Douglas-Tyson

    Seconded.

Also 'War, baby: The Glamour of Violence" by Kevin Mitchell is worth a look.

If you're into your heavyweights then a book called 'Kings of the Ring: The History of Heavyweight Boxing' is a must.

Basically runs through bio's of every recognised Heavyweight champ from John L Sullivan to V. Klitschko. Also gives a great insight into how boxing evolved in the early days and some of the prominent fighters at the time.

    A top read

Master Of The Ring and The Lion And The Eagle are exellant for any boxing historians out there War Baby's a great little book and The Last Great Fight about Tyson vs Douglas is also brilliant probably better than the fight and what a great fight!!
