Ive just finished reading the book on Nipper Pat Daly (Britain's so-called wonderboy of the 1920s). The guy begun fighting at 9, was in th Ring Magazine's top 10 at 16, and was completely shot by 17. Very sad story about a young lad being overworked too soon (in 1925 i believe, he thought 33 15 rounders or something crazy like that)
There is a new book out titled "A Night at the Fights," which is great so far (I'm not done reading it). It highlights several fights and fighters throughout the years.
