I believe the AIBA rule is you can't train pro's if you want to train national teams and take teams away for international tournaments. As Mark is the national youth coach this excludes him from cornering pro's but not from training them. Although as AIBA is pushing more towards a pro style now hopefully they scrap this rule, interesting that there was controversy over Freddie Roach helping the US Olympic team before London, in the end I think they settled on him being a consultant. For the sake of boxing you think these people would want the best trainers out there.
