Best boxing moment of 2007..... so far?

Pavlik overboth Miranda and Taylor...

They were sweet ones...

 

so far for me its the 1st bell to start off calzaghe/kessler signifying the begin of a true superfight.

 

1st Runner Up: Pavlik KO'ing a very game Jermain Taylor

But to me #1 is Miguel Cotto dropping Zab Judah at the start of the 11th round in front of 20k screaming fans at the Garden... The second Judah hit the ground and began crawling up I thought " Heres the next superstar"

 

It's been a good year, hasn't it?:happy

1) Both Marquez/Vasquez fights.
2) Pavlik/Taylor action fight.
3) Hatton's crushing blow to Castillo.
4) Ding's left hook KO.

 

It was more like a glorified sparring session which bored most people to tears.

For me it was Pavlik's KO of Miranda. Nobody and I mean nobody but diehard fans gave Pavlik a chance in that one. Even at the press conferences it was all about Miranda and Taylor, like Pavlik wasn't there and might as well not show up at the fight. Then fight night HBO runs a 10 minute life story about Miranda then just shows the Ghost enter the ring. lol. Don't get me wrong I was so excited I couldn't contain myself when he won against Taylor, but half of ESB was picking Ghost to win that one.

On both KO's though I damn near tackled my wife (because sadly she's the only fight watchin buddy I got LOL, but I love her for it) jumping up and down, running around the house.

That's funny. Although, my wife is usually the only one who watches fights we me too. She was in bed during the Miranda fight, we have a two year old, and I woke them up by all the screaming and chaos I was causing during the 7th rd. Atleast, I didn't get in any trouble.

ill have to go with the big upset of kelly over taylor and the second must be the fight of cotto and judah... and in no way should the DLH/Mayweather fight should be mention... and I would like to know how did Mayweather put a masterful clinic against DLHatsch
