That came to mind until I really thought about it...

Lewis was not much of a pure boxer..he was much more of a 1-2 banger.

Look at Holyfield vs. Lewis I.
Perfect example of a man displaying skills to dominate the other man.

Lennox Lewis. He had the answer for everything. He kept people on the end of the long jab, and right hand. If you managed to get past that you'd get hit with some hooks, if you got past the hooks you got hit with uppercuts and if you got past all of that he knew how to tie you up and put all that weight on you. He wasted very few punches and threw every punch well. Excellent fighter. His offense was his defense which probably will exclude him in a lot of people's opinion

His offense was his defense when he got older. In his younger years it was the opposite. Lewis showed some serious boxing skills when he was past his prime, at the age of 36.

I agree a little with Iceveins, that he was a 1-2 banger, but that's because he was so succesful at it. How many ppl did he knock out with that 1-2.? It was effective. But what was most deadly was his uppercut, that flattened Shannon Briggs.

First that sprung to mind was Toney haha, but seeing as he's not a great heavyweight, i'll go for Joe Louis.
