Putting together my boxing bucket list and looking to create a list of the best boxing venues in the United States today. Also will accept non-U.S. venues if there's a compelling case to be made.
i would like to see some new venues, i like it if a fight happens in a poor country or something like dubai, also like open air.
MGM Grand You stay in it You get pissed in it You eat in it You get laid in it You go to the weigh-in in it You meet great fighters in it You watch the fight in it Best place on earth although haven't been to the Mandalay yet. PS - Staples is quality also.
Agreed, and most people who go to those Vegas fights only show when just prior to the main event after losing a bundle at the tables. It's hob-knobbing second on the HBO cameras.
All-State Arena Rosemont Illinois (I go there all the time for fights) Sidenote: WWF superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin says All-State Arena was his favorite place to wrestle, it was known as the Rosemont Horizon back when he came here. (I'm from Chicago).
cant forget madison square garden . boardwalk hall in atlatic city is a fun ass place to watch a fight too.
kings hall, belfast some of the most important and most entertaining fights in irish boxing history have taking place there and the atmosphere on fight is amazing its a must see if your traveling around looking at great boxing venues
It used to be Vegas, but them days are over it's ran it's course:-( jerry Jones new stadium in Texas is now the hotspot, or will be in a few years.. **** Vegas, too many thugs, hustlers, and assholes that don't really give a **** about who's fighting, they just go there to get drunk, and **** around...
