I'm not one for conspiracy theories but that fight will always have a huge "?" over it for me. And thats probably being kind.

There was a thread a couple of years ago deleted on that fight. I assume is was at Frankies request. Dodgy as hell IMHO.

    Without a shadow fella.

If I had to pick any fight from the last ten years that I thought was corrupt, that'd be my pick.

    Dick McTaggart MBE

634 Bouts 610 Wins 24 Defeats. Dick won 32 cups, 57 plaques and 49 medals.

The pinnacle was his Olympic Gold Medal won in Melbourne, 1956. Dick was also awarded the Val Barker Trophy in Australia for being the world's most stylish boxer.

Four years later at the Rome Olympics, Dick won the Bronze Medal.
But his list of honours is huge. 1958 British Empire Champion in Cardiff. 1963 British Empire Silver Medallist in Perth, Australia. 1961 European Champion in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.

    He was ABA Champion five times, 1956, '58, '61, '63 and '65.

    He lifted the Scottish title seven times, in 1957, '58, '59, '60, '62, '64 and '65.

During his time in the forces Dick continued his collection of honours. Imperial Services Champion 1954, '55, '56 and '58. Allied Forces Champion 1956. Royal Air Force Champion 1954, '55, '56, '57 and '58.
He also won the Britannia Shield in 1954 and '57 and the Duke of Hamilton Plaque in 1962.

The late Harry Carpenter said, "The greatest amateur I ever saw was Dick McTaggart" A fitting tribute.

Dick is still a very regular face at amateur boxing events around Scotland, giving support and encouragement to young boxers

Khan gets beaten fairly comfortably by Kindelan for the gold medal.

Instead of turning pro like most Olympians do, Khan decides to have one last amateur fight against Kindelan on national TV.

Kindelan comes over to the UK, does just enough to lose.

Khan turns pro having "avenged" his loss in the Olympic final.

Kindelan flies home with an extra case of "hand £££££ luggage".
