Watson had lost to Cook, and now was being thrown to Dangerous Don was my spin, sorry the BBC spin, as that was the way it was presented on Sportsnight.

Definitely and it shouldn't even be up for debate.

Henry Cooper by a country mile! He boxed in the golden age of heavyweights, was for a number of years the best boxer outside America, was British, Commonwealth, European Champion over a number of years, and nearly beat Cassius Clay. Henry was hard as nails.

Do you know what I love about your posts? The amount of detail you put into the dismissals of someone else's post.

Michael Watson was extremely good! Seeing him send Stackhouse head over heels in the first minute, after RS had given a very good account of himself against Graham and Duran in cagey close fights, was impressive as **** - and the way he took apart former world #1 Don Lee as a 22-year-old substitute! The Benn masterclass and McCallum and Eubank II efforts. The guy was going places! Poetry in motion at his smooth, defensive best.

World-class enough for Hearns to avoid him like the plague (Lindell used to bash him up in sparring, by all accounts), and world-class enough to, err, win and defend a world title! He was also robbed against Kalule and Park (and Graham, for that matter - headbutt caused the cut).

Holmes robbed against Graham? I haven't seen it but a lot people say he barley touched Graham.

I've gone over the same **** countless times, if you don't like it then it's very easy to put me on ignore. I'm also known for very detailed responses so go **** yourself.

Colin Jones deserves a mention - he came so close to beating Milton McCrory.

Only Lost 3 fights (1 by DQ)

Also, Sparked Kirkland Laing out TWICE - both times in the 9th round.

    Huge puncher.

Although it was his last fight, i don't know if i would say Kalaule was that shot, in the fight before he had an excellent world class technical fight with Kalambay.

I uploaded that fight to YouTube: Kalambay should've won. Also, Sumbu was not yet at his prime. Kalule was admittedly free of the weight draining shackles that had hampered his time at the top at 154 but yes, as a massive Kalule fan he was liberated but clearly way past his best and shopworn.

Anyway, Graham fought Kalambay shortly afterwards and was sparked on his feet. **** their second meeting, Graham was undefeated going into the Sumbu fight and after some close rounds very nearly got sparked.
