Olympia is good in terms of getting a decent view, but the venue itself is need of major renovation. I've seen a few shows there and never had a bad seat but it's freezing, getting to the bar can be a nightmare and the place is just run down. The Echo Arena is fantastic in my view. Again, I've never had a bad seat and this is in a much bigger arena. The cheap seats are better than the cheap seats in the MEN (think the MEN is bigger though so that's not surprising). Other than ringside, the lower tier seats in the Echo are great value. Usually low priced but generally a cracking view. I'm also a bit of a nut for leisure centre venues. About 200 people on benches like at school or on plastic chairs or temporary stands. Ring walk is usually through the crowd. Close enough to be bled on and usually open seating. That's the real side of the sport for me.
York Hall all day long...balcony seats you can see everything from almost a birds eye view but from no more than 20 meters away
