Whos has beaten the best oposition out of the Calzaghe and Hatton?

Who has faced the better fighter?

Who has fought outside sunny old Wales?

    Joe has a better resume.

Besides, it's not even the point. Anybody with a functioning pair of eyes can watch the two and work out who the better fighter is.

Yes he has. Are you on a quest to make yourself look silly tonight?

Does it matter? Most of the "legends" havn't fought outside sunny Yanksville. It's irrelevant. Besides, he fought in Germany and Denmark

Can you not see who the better fighter is, when you watch these two? Are the skill levels not blindingly obvious to you? Infact, the skill levels are so vast one compensates by hugging his opponents.

It is fairly obvious that Calzaghe is easily the best boxer in britain - its barely even debateable

    Calzaghe is the best boxer.

Whether he has the best resume is debatable.

He's doing his best to rescue the situation, but at the moment, Calzaghe is a vastly unfulfilled talent.

David Haye and Ricky Hatton have taken big risks, Calzaghe can't say the same.

Calzaghe #1 by a great distance. Haye still has not done enough, plus he TKO'd himself in that one fight

I wouldn't describe Ricky Hatton as a risk taker

He's made some God awful WBU defenses, far worse than Calzaghe.

He then got a good win over Tszyu when he was old. Didn't take advantage of it, instead ducked Witter and fought a couple of marginal opponents in Maussa and Urango. Castillo, shot to bits.

Then he got the big money payday. I would describe his career thus far as opportunistic, when it could have been so much different if he was a true risk taker and fought Witter. Opportunistic.

I agree with you , but still have Hatton above Calzaghe.

Amir Khan has alot of natural Talent, but until he fights top draw fighter we cant rate him as the best, the same reason why I dont rate Calzaghe, he needs to beat P4P class fighter.
