don't think there any decent ones. they all just mention big fights and news that everyone already knows.

The Irish News on a Tuesday is the only one I have noticed that appears to have a regular boxing section.

McGuigan has a Sunday piece in the Daily Mirror I think.

Generally though, not great. In terms of local news though, the Liverpool Echo always has decent coverage of local fighters

I think McGuigan has a column in the Daily Mirror on a Saturday. The Sunday Mirror comes out on a Sunday.

I bet the local papers are much better with local amateur shows and pro updates and interviews.

The Northampton Chronicle and Echo usually has a boxing section on a Saturday which is pretty good (usually it says Paul David is pissed off he's being overlooked for a title shot) and as a lad I'd always get the South Devon Herald Express on a Thursday to see if they had a picture of me being punched so I knew when I'd get ripped at school the next day.

Hart on Tuesday, Warren is a hypocritical and bitter twat so I hardly read his drivel. Barry's column in the mirror is ace, apart from that its pretty poor bar the Times online bits...

Agree in regards to Frank Warren, it's terrible stuff mostly.

Generally Boxing does NOT get the main stream coverage it deserves in any newspaper..... I can't work it out as Boxing is the most popular sport in this country outside of Football, which gets too much coverage!

I'll get a bit of stick for this but the Telegraph update their Boxing section near enough daily on their website. Always worth a look, IMO.

Didn't The Independent (Rawling and Bunce) used to have regular columns?

Donald Macrae (I've made a mess of his surname there) does excellent occasional features for the Guardian.
Ron Lewis knows his stuff at the Times.

It really is only world title fights get anything more than a paragraph though in general.
