I disagree. Canelo doesn't have a chance, because he will never face him.

Unless GGG is like 39 and shot.

Canelo has a pretty good chance given GGG is most probably on the downslide given he's 35 in a couple of months and has had 350 amateur fights, many at top level.

Only Ward at 168, has that hit and clinch style to neutralize Ggg's attack like Gaydarbekov did in the ams, but that was still a controversial win and now GGG has a monster jab to fall back on that can give Ward or anyone problems. But Ward has the size, skill, and will to do it.

Canelo will outpoint him in a tough fight. Flashy combos will bounce off GGGs head all night. Canelo will get hurt a few times and have to weather a few storms but he will come through it to win a close one.

I always thought Canelo had a good chance of hanging with GGG as I genuinely thought the way Golovkin fights would be Taylor made for Canelo but I've since changed my mind a bit because of Canelos struggles with boxers who have a decent jab,all depends how Golovkin fought but if he decided to go on a jabathon like he did against Lemieux I can't see Canelo doing very well, another point is Canelos frequent rests on the ropes that would be Suicide against GGG,that said Canelo and Oscar know this which is why it won't happen any time soon.
