I think it was ruled a slip.

I say Hagler, never been stopped.

 

chuvalo over hagler. hagler had a great chin, but the punches everyone talks about him taking are from guys rising up in weight to fight him..mugabi and hearns
chuvalo fought every giant puncher known to man while having no defense. never dropped in over 70 fights...thats almost impossible to do at heavyweight

Chuvalo and Hagler are the only two on the list who had iron chins and were never knocked down. But you have to pick Chuvalo here, because he fought Frazier and Foreman without being dropped.

If the ref hadn't stopped the fight prematurely, Chuvalo probably would have beaten Foreman, who had serious stamina issues.

 

That's a complete stretch. He was rendered defenseless and stopped in the third round. Against Frazier, he turned his back in the fourth, understandable considering his face was broke. He'd likely get dropped in both fights if they go beyond the early rounds.
