For all the times Robinson was alledgedly knocked down, he was never officially KO'ed or stopped in the ring in 200 fights. You couldn't render him defenseless, even when he was absolutely shot to utter ****. His chin never gave out to the point he couldn't make the distance save for one very well publicized exception.

Kid Gavilan: 143 fights. 0 losses by KO, TKO, RTD. Around a dozen by politics. But you want to give him bad marks for Ike Williams and Carmen Basilio? You ****in serious? He Threw Down with mother****ers. The idea of him ever getting stopped is absolute joke.

    :D

    He had a good chance.

When the fight was stopped he was parrying almost all of foreman his shots and his jawline was safely protected.

Don't know, but Lewis mentioned something that his three punch combo didn't have any effect.

Woops it did seem to hurt Tua.

    Not for long though.

Barrett also seemed to have Tua hurt....

But Tua was really past his prime by the time he got hurt.
Don't really think any boxer could have KO'd the Tua from the Ike fight.

Tua was 38 by the time he got knocked down...
Still it took a lot of power to take him down, especially for a guy who has been a punch absorber for so long.
