Wlad made Peter do the chicken dance in the 12th round....and Wach never did (and it seems to me that Wach took a higher number of total shots, and harder shots)...I'd say Wach's chin is better than Peter's was at the point they fought.

Although with a beating like that it remains to be seen how Wach will hold up in future fights...sometimes beatings like that really take it out of a fighter (see Peter).

I agree he didn't seem dazed as much as he seemed to be in pain from the shots he was taking.

Nah. I'm a Vitali fan but I would guess if his chin is as past prime as his power and reflexes he isn't near the top chins in the sport right now

Wach showed the best chin display of recent times in the heavyweight division, and that was against perhaps the biggest puncher in boxing who was teeing off on him all fight. Pure steel. Ask the Chin Checkers

Peter had a granite chin but like you said, Wlad unloaded far more on Wach and didn't seem to do much to him. Wach's jaw is the strongest grade of steel available

Has to be Vitali Klitschko. Took as savage as an Uppercut from Lennox Lewis as I have ever seen and didn't go down.

He has NEVER been knocked down. The guy is 40 years old and fighting guys 15 years younger than him and Dominating.

Vitali Klitschko is an Iron Chinned Warrior. Fact.

Normally id like to see more evidence of someone being able to take a shot before labeling them iron.

But that uppercut was such a rediculous shot.... it sounded like a gun went off and snapped his head back violently.

Fact he could take that shot and keep going means he has a very good chin at the very minimum.

Then take into account other shots he has taken from Lewis, Sanders and others and im pretty confident in labeling it as iron.

I would agree with you on this. Vitali has took some shots
from Lewis, Sanders and not went down. I think that one
shot from Lewis would have dropped anyone!

Vitali has never been down or hurt, so I say Vitali. After watching the Klitschko - Wach fight, I think he has the best chin in the sport right now. What genetics? I mean, even his face didn't look that bad cosidering what he took. Wlad is the hardest puncher in the world right now and Wach took his full arsenal and never looked like he was in trouble. The jab all night, the right hand for power, the left hook for power, and even some short right uppercuts on the inside. Wachs chin is unbeliveable!

Wach chin is as good as Mccall's. Maybe even better.

Then are you saying Vitali's height, footwork, head movement, and defense should be applauded? Heavyweights get hit, and Vitlai at age 41 has never been floored. Taking bombs from Lewis, Sanders, Hide, Briggs, etc...
