How exactly is saying Malinga was about 43 contradicting myself?? Er, he was about 43 mate, he was definitely over 40 anyway (I could check the old boxrec and find out, but that appears to be a shameful disgrace these days!! atsch). There's no contradiction in being right. Malinga beat a past-prime Nigel Benn still shellshocked from the McClellan fight, and outboxed the notoriously inconsistent Robin Reid. So what??

I wouldn't be knackered without boxrec at all. I would find it more difficult to discuss boxing as I am not a walking encyclopedia with hundreds of dates, statistics etc etc all memorised, but I think every single member of the ESB is the same, sometimes things need to be checked out from time to time. Oh the shame... I have a pretty good collection of boxing books anyway, so I'm sure I'd muddle through ok without boxrec.
