Margarito. That sturdy chin put the fear of God into PBF who retired to avoid fighting him and a few others.

Golovkin's never really fought anyone that decent who can punch in his own weight class. We've never seen him get lit up like Froch did against Groves and Kessler.

Mayweather has never been down and took the same shots from Mosley that Margarito did and was still standing. Mosley wiped the floor with Margarito you Goon.

Oscar De La Hoya had a better chin than all those fighters.

He took bombs from Trinidad, Vargas, Mosley, Mayorga, Quartey, Gatti, JCChavez and even fought a Light HW in Hopkins and not once staggered or chicken danced except the occasional flash KD early in his career.

Mayweather's chin was average at best. His reflexes and balance kept him from going down. If we were talking about defensive skills, yes, Mayweather has a good case for having the best D skills of this century.

Provo may technically have the best chin in that list, but its more based just on the one fight against Matthyse, we haven't seen him take huge beatings in multiple high profile fights, unlike the two fighters who have defined Iron Jaw for the last decade and a half - Froch and Marg.

Floyd has taken solid shots from several punchers and has never touched the canvas. The only time has come close was when he got countered by a quick Zab Judah, but then again that's only a Glove. Oscar was only knocked down in fights against Quartey and Hopkins, so that speaks volumes about his chin. I'd say it's hell of a lot better than margaritos.

Floyd imo had an average chin, no shame in that, he made up for it with his exceptional defense. The Judah KD was a flash KD and it had more to do with balance than the impact and effects of the punch.
