Bad comparison. Floyd took one shot and was in ***** street. Margarito took like 200 before he was hurt.

    I voted for Antonio Margarito.

Cant vote for Triple G, he has only been In the ring with 2 bangers.

    Lemuiex and Stevens .

Yet he was barely touched by either guy.

Btw this is a very good poll and i love the options.

Yes . Oscar Dela Hoya chin was 100% PURE IRON .

Oscar took Prime Mosleys hardest shots and never even blinked .

Margarito, Floyd , Mayorga, Vargas cant say the same.

Oscar De La Hoya for me certainly has the best chin of all. His chin is certified and tested by big punchers who also happen to be elite to make it more legit (as they find the target more often; timing and precision is an important part of power that a boxer is faced with).

In a pound-for-pound, year-for-year sense, I would take Hopkins over that entire bunch.

In his 40s, 2 classes north of his best weight class, he was only arguably close to being stopped once, when he was 49 against a murderous puncher. And even then he persevered.

Good point he has to be up there. I've only ever seen him hurt against Lewis and Sanders and he's fighting in the division with the biggest men and hardest punchers. While he rarely gets hit cleanly when he has and been hit hard his chin has shown to be very good at the very least.

As for those on the list, hard to say. Margarito had a good chin but he has been stopped twice by Cotto and Mosley.

Provo has an epic chin that has been thoroughly tested due to his non existent defence and he's never been stopped unlike Margarito.

But then the most epic display of durability for me was Froch/Groves 1. How Froch got up after walking into the bomb Groves hit him with was epic. Then the follow up shots and then even more incredible the combos he was eating in the 6th while throwing back, other than when Bradley was on the ropes against Provo and eating shots and throwing back I haven't seen anything like the 6th and Froch took those shots far better than Bradley was taking from Provo.
