Best Combination Punchers All Time by Divison?

    And you could record any of those punches and teach them to young boxers because he executes all punches perfectly.

    the thing with leonard and taylor is that they didn't really throw COMBINATIONS, they threw FLURRIES, people seem to mix they two up alot, same thing with RJJ

    I wouldn't have Taylor that high. He threw good combinations and flurries, very fast and in bunches, but more placement and accuracy is most important in combos. Creating and exploiting openings is more important than speed and numbers, and I'd put guys like Louis, Tyson, Marquez, etc...over Taylor.

    I really do appreciate Marquez's counterpunching. It's an absolute thing of beauty. His countering is so sweet. His accuracy is awesome.

    People like Jones, Taylor, Pacquiao etc., don't deserve to be mentioned in this thread. Guys like Morales, Marquez etc., are brilliant combination punchers. The first three were just fast.

    At 168 pounds who threw better combinations than Roy. Don't say Calzaghe with his amateurish slap style.

    Well, there's "throwing combinations" and being a "combination puncher". I don't think the two are the same thing, honestly. Whilst Jones actual combinations were good, as was Taylor's, he didn't have the variation or accuracy. Honestly, as far as variations and things go, Andre Ward isn't a bad shout and I'm really not as high on him as other people.

    SRL was excellent at both flurries and well placed combos with leverage and power.
