Off the top of my head and from memory, Arguello vs Mancini at the end. I believe it was a right uppercut to the heart, left hook, right cross. Again from memory, Leonard stopping Andy Price was scary good.
Speaking of Arguello, the combination that Pryor finished him off with in the first fight was a doozy. Punching from all angles with supreme accuracy. Awesome finish.
that combo was a flurry, but hard hitting enough to move the mass of the guy's torso, his gloves and head...
Gotta be Roberto Duran attacking the courageous Davey Moore. & that final right dropping Moore. Awesome!
The Tyson flurry that took down Pinklon Thomas was pretty sweet. Michael Moorer knocking out Bert Cooper and Alex Stewart were both nasty!!
One of my absolute favorite combos is the "left hook to right cross" expertly performed by the greatest "Ray Robinson" and "Ezzard charles"."Holyfield" also used it as well in his prime and was very good at it to.Another fantastic combo is the "Tony Zale" right hook to the body and left hook to the head,he is one of the greatest body punchers in history. The combination & final right hand by Julio C. Chavez to drop Meldrick Taylor, in the final seconds. to snatch victory out of the hands of defeat. Right out of Rocky!!
You beat me to that Marquez combination, that's been a favorite of mine for years now. Great shout, and worth a look. The finishing blows actually start coming even before that, as Arguello digs in with a nasty body punch before hitting Mancinin with a leaping left hook and launching the proper combination. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsJzjR5iMLA[/ame] (1:11-1:20) This may be too obvious, but I've always that the sequence where Ali dodges a big, wild uppercut by Cleveland Williams and then comes back with a combo that lays Williams out flat is about as sweet a show as you can see in boxing. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJUzl0aFHZw[/ame] (6:00-6:10) Julio Cesar Chavez threw tons of great combinations, the following highlight is a major showcase for them. :38-:42 is really something special though, and I also like the sequence against Marty Jakubowski at 1:32-1:38, mostly because Jakubowski was a moving target in the middle of that sequence yet Chavez was on target with just about every shot. You can see that same sequence in normal speed on the second video below, from about 2:31-2:36. When my mind is working again (don't hold your breath, guys ) I'll come in and add a few more videos and mention some other cases.
