Joe was a beast, perfect text book puncher but added to the best ever combo puncher with killer instinct...Max had a good chin but Joe Louis just broke you down
my favourite combination is the simple right uppercut-left hook.bob foster was a master of it and used it to nearly take dick tiger's head off and then then sparked mike quarry in a defence of his crown.carlos palomino was another good user of it.
Pernell Whitaker lands a nice ten punch combo on Buddy at 0:20. Not really a powerful or devastating combo, but still impressive considering the calibre of opponent. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tfCy-vufk8[/ame]
Hello Addie - glad Audrey Hepburn got a shout there btw - sorry about the Marciano clip btw - didn't mean it was one of the all time great combos or anything - I just liked the combo he used to put Lastarza out the ring and the finisher was even better - I've always thought that was one of Marciano's most under rated finishes - coming from a guy never threw combinations as such - but he produced one there - good old Rock :happy
:goodgood call. i wanted sweet pea in here but couldn't think of an appropriate clip. it's sad but one of my favourite performances was his pro debut. he fought a complete non-entity but you knew from his first showing he was something special
at 3:06 to 3:20 you see Chavez assault Rosario and become virtually unhitable you tell me what other dominant puncher did the same at lightweight...Chavez had more combos than a Chinese restaurant
Winona's a stunner but I reckon the lady in my avatar nearly has her covered. Olivia De Haviland what a beauty she was.
