    Pernell Whitaker, Wilfred Benitez, believe it or
    not Joe Louis and Roberto Duran (In Duran's
    case, just watch the Hagler fight)
    a lot of Louis's ko's came off a counter.

    Wilfred Benitez, Bernard Hopkins, Alexis Arguello was a good counter puncher, and also Salvador Sanchez

    Quarry, Schmeling and Sanchez are my top three. Also James Toney, Wilfred Benitez, and probably Jimmy Young.

    Can't believe only one guy has mentioned Roy Jones Jr. In his prime he had the speed and the reflexes to counter anything an opponent would throw at him he was an amazing counter puncher.
