Best counterpuncher in Heavyweight class (All-time)

    Patterson fought @ HW from 56-72, whereas Tunney really only fought there for 2 years and outside of Dempsey, Risko, Heeney & Gibbons (perhaps Greb although he was only weighing 169)

    Not really. I'm looking for counterpunchers you usually see in a top10/top20 all-time Heavyweights.

    Jersey Joe Walcott have one of the best counter's in the division history. On a different level, both Corrie Sanders and Thad Spencer deserve a mention too, in my humble opinion.

    And Believe it or not.........Joe Frazier.
    His timing was simply incredible for a
    Pressure fighter. He was able to counter
    Jabs with hooks...... Which isn't easy to
    Do against world class opponents. Frazier
    Made it look easy. Instincts, intuition, and timing
    At its highest level.
