What was the best crowd at any live fight you attended? For me it was the crowd at the Vinny Pazienza-Gilbert Dele 154 WBA title fight at the Providence (RI) civic center. eleven thousand people all rooting for Paz and it was insane. When Vinny stopped him in the 12th you could feel the place shaking it was so loud with cheering. I've been to dozens of fights in RI, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and in Atlantic city, but I've never seen as intense a crowd as that night.
at the blue horizon. i was there once and cause the action in the ring got boring, people started yelling stuff like "turn off the light, the want some private time"..............crazy ****.
I had the same experience, though with only 5.000 people at last weekend's Sylvester vs. Castillejo - the crowd was cheering and singing all along...I never experienced such an atmosphere at a German boxing event.
I for my part love the fight crowds in the Czech Republic. The Czech fight fans are always fair applauding whoever has won a fight whether he is their home town boy or a foreign fighter. They loudly support their own boys, but not aggressively or offensively. You cant see any totally drunk bums among the average czech fight crowd. Classy people, our czech brother in arms.Props to the czech fight fans!
