    I don't like Floyd Mayweather that much, but I love his defence. The N'Dou fight was spectacular in that respect.

    The best defences I have seen are Hopkins, Whitaker, Toney, Mayweather and Benitez.

    I have seen Locche on film, but not very much of Pep or Canto. His defence is impressive, but I'm not sure if it as developed as the more modern fighters mentioned. Had he faced an opponent with rapier-like speed, I don't think he would have coped too well.

    OK, I await being shot down by a more knowledgable Locche fan....

    Come on now, that's not fair to Hopkins who turned out to be one of the best defensive fighters of our era.
    That's like saying Ali had a weak chin because he got dropped by Henry Cooper.
