    :yep I loved that.

With hindsight, I kind of wish he had just boxed orthodox & won the rd because then the fight wouldnt have been seen as close - it would have been 116-112 rather than 115-113 on all cards - & there wouldnt have been pressure for the rematch which turned out to be one of my saddest days in boxing :|

Jeff Harding vs Dennis Andries 1. Harding took a beating from Andries and then knocked him out in I think the last round.

For a former middleweight champ to go toe-to-toe with a well-known natural heavyweight powerpuncher for 24 rounds is just remarkable, Toney really doesn't get enough credit for that IMO.

I loved that as well. Vintage Morales. Brave, brilliant... barmy! I think the rematch would've happened anyway though Bill, I'm certain Morales must've thought himself he would win their 2nd fight after winning well the first time around.

Lamotta handled bob satterfields power, he could handle a slow mauler like peters. also i would like to add lamotta had a better chin than toney.........toney was floored by a middleweight during his career, this never happened to lamotta.

allow lamotta to bulk up with steroids to 235lb and he would easily take toneys shots

Yes sir.. I was at that fight, Michael went out on his shield and i thought for a talented boxer Evander stood in front of Mike too much and allowed himself to be hit far too much..

Very good choice.... Sad to see where Michael is now...:-(

What's the situation with Dokes currently?

    Is he morbidly overweight?
