Ali-Bugner 1 (this may seem like a strange pick, but I think it shows a different side to Ali's skillset that we didn't often get to see)

Just about any mid-to-late 70s Duran performance.

    Chavez-Rosario

    Tyson-Biggs

    Harada-Kingpetch 1

Actually, I think THE BEST ever display of controlled aggression is probably Napoles-Cokes 1.

Marcos Villasana had a few good ones... Hodkinson I and Azumah I.

Adrian Granados was a no hope +900 dog just to win when he relentlessly swarmed and hustled uber prospect Amir Imam to a mid rounds stoppage. He was supposed to be "Mayweather with Hearn like power".

    Olivares/Rose. Olivares/Chacon I and II.

    Holmes.

Whenever he was hurt and/or under duress, he would lift his aggression level several notches - but not at the expense of his technical proficiencies, through which he channeled his anger.

The straight right hands he nailed Witherspoon with in round 9 is just one example of Holmes successfully fighting angry.

Another example would be Larry’s performance in the later rounds of his fight against Norton.

Liston’s cool, calm but badly intended fight back in round 2 of of the first Williams fight is also a terrific example of controlled aggression - while Williams himself lost his head a bit in his crazed effort to knock Sonny’s own head off his shoulders.

    Gomez-Yum.

Gomez started out shaky the first 3 rounds, but once he settled in, he put on one of the best controlled aggression clinics you'll ever see.

Vicente Saldivar was also a fighter who always showed controlled aggression. His fight with Sugar Ramos is a good example of that.
