I vote for dpw417, hands down. He consistantly comes up with terrific pairings that would whet the appetite of any ol' schooler.

Me. I make top notch matchups, just not that often, and people are less familiar with the fighters I mention in fantasy matchups, as evidenced by the lack of interest in my last fantasy thread.

Appreciate the compliment. Coming from a boxing guy like you, JG....That means something. Alot of posters here come up with some great topics, not just match-ups. I'd say this is one of the best boards going.

If the fighters go back to the '30s and '40s, SP -- headliners or not -- decrepit ol' schoolers like myself would love to see the fur fly about them.

Since the few that've jumped on this thread are convinced they're the best matchmakers, let's leave it to the posters to decide.

Say, 10 matches are made; the guy that puts together the most surprising stampede-at-the-box office bouts is the winner.

I was just messing around anyway, I don't start enough threads to even be considered.

The one I've highlighted above, Mc, is exactly the kinna match I'm talkin' about.

I also put some matches, where the fighters are not household names per say. But would make good match up's. (But sometimes get little response). Like for example; Briscoe-Tiger, Tapia-Morales, Gatti-Mancini, or Holyfield-Weaver. I thought Fletcher-Antuofermo was a good one.

You're right, l-c. They're terrific matches. Be curious to see how the rest of the posters rate you.

Thanks John, & My personal favorite's. Which garnered alot of interest were Tyson-Foreman & Dempsey-Marciano.
