Hope im not gunna take some flak here, but im inviting it! I judged it only once, and had a draw. When Leonard did go on the offensive, he was so much sharper than Hearns when he did. Not that that's a sole reason for giving Ray points, just thought i'd point that out. I can see the argument for Tommy though, 2 KDs and you could swing that his way.
Amazing both fights had the same pattern, with Demarco getting a early lead, and even hurting Basilio, and out slugging Basilio for only Basilio's body work to start wearing Demarco down and out in round 12.
I have fight 2 complete. Fight 1 is from Rocky Marciano's main event, only missing 1 round if I recall. But yeah they were carbon copys of each other. Basilio relly had to pull from behide, to get the win in both of the fights. Basilio had better stimia did Demarco did in that fight, and the body punchings relly took Demarco's legs away from him. He was a setting duck. Though the ref should have stop the fight in round ten of fight 1 in Basilio's favor imo. That was when it was pretty clear Demarco was going to lose with thsos 2 knockdowns, Sure Demarco was winning the fight, but loseing the long hall for thsos 15 rounders.
I concur with the thread-starter, Arguello-Pryor it is. Pacquiao-Marquez is a good shout as well though, but hopefully that will become a trilogy very soon.
