I can understand someone having it a draw, it was close enough. People go on about Hearns scoring 2 KDs but still not getting the decision but really he had a 1 KD advantage because Leonard scored a 10-8 rd in the 5th. I gave SRL a 10-9 rd in rd 12 & disagree the judge that gave ray a 10-8 rd. :thumbsup
those are some great pics, i especially liked the saad-marvin and arguello-pryor the first 2 fight exiting series that comes to mind is ivan robinson and arturo gatti also a rare cable tv series that flys under the radar but i consider possibly the best 2fight series on espn2 in the last 5 years is omar sheika- scotty pemberton. both very very good fights because and so identical. scotts chin is questioned and shieka only has one gear, it made perfect television. 8 years before this was a equaly exiting two fight series with prince charles williams and merqui sosa. merqui sosa possibly the most physically powerfull converted super middle weight since gerald mccellan and williams who was former world champion and master at effectively smothering and raking fighters on the ropes. the first fight ended in the famous 'both fighters are not fit to continue' draw (i thought it was a no contest?) and the second was intense for as long as it lasted (sosa was very classy in victory as he first showed his concerns for charles who was taken out in a stretcher but fortunately he made a complete recovery)
Generally, when the same guy wins both, you don't get (or need third). Marquez-Pacquiao is the exception.
