    So can you brits name those boxing greats from southern asia e.g. pakistan, india , Bangladesh . I know it’s a long list but maybe @HerolGee as a brit can help you lol.

    Its where it becomes a more debatable label, given than its a label used to describe landmasses primarily.

    I suppose Naseem Hamed, although born in Sheffield his family is from Yemen I believe and he is very proud of that fact.

    Other than that.. I can't think of any fighters from that part of the world which is strange really, for such big populations and many of the people in those countries very poor you'd think there would be hundreds if not more trying to fight their way out of poverty.

    Amir Khans family are from Pakistan, he was born in Bolton I believe but he is also very proud of his roots.

    Yeah struggling to think of any, suprising when I think about it.

    Yeah it is a strange one.. Most people in the UK associate Asian with Indian and Pakistani but not so much China and Japan etc. A lot of us fellow brits would think oriental and Asian as two complete different races.
