I remember the Golota ones (who couldn't) I actually gave Bowe a hell of a lot of credit for taking the beatings he was doing against Golota and not going down. That ****er was tough. SHame he never fought Lewis

More proof of Lennox Lewis's solid Chin.

I really thought that Bowe was truly the real deal....he stacked the deck but didn't come to the table. Lewis - Bowe could have been a fight for the ages.

From Boxrec so take a pinch of salt "Bowe has later admitted in interviews that Hide had him out on his feet at one point in the fight and was the hardest puncher he ever faced. "

    James Toney.

From middle to heavy and only saw him stunned/rocked once, early days at 160 against Reggie Johnson. He was off balance in the knockdowns against RJJ and Peter. That's a lot of fights against a lot of big punchers from 160 to 255 lbs. At least one of the best p4p chins ever.

Don't think i've ever seen Tua rocked in the pro ranks.

I don't think Vitali, he was hanging on like on octopus in the last round against Lewis, and as far as i'm concerned Sanders scored a KD on him in the first round. He was definitely shaken up and on his bike, nobody can deny that.

Yeah that was awesome. Mccall with his hands down walking about taking flush right hands of one hardest punching heavyweights ever.

I've always said Lennox had a quality chin. He faced more punchers than any HW champ in history(arguably)

I agree with whoever said Chuvalo is still sharp (sorry not to give you full credit, very stoned and on iPhone :good) his chin is the best HW chin I've seen on film ;-) So many punchers faced, and how he stood up to a peak Foreman trying to take his head off and acted like he was merely being breathed on, was an incredible display of jaw bone/skull density. And yet he's a thoughtful, eloquent and gracious man still.

Both George Foreman (surely his later days prove that Ali dropped him because he was 'The Greatest' and we all know Lyle was a puncher) and Holyfield (could be hurt but also had an iron will!) are also very good shouts.

But Grim was literally just a chin. No defence, no offence. And he could not be put away.

Vitali has probably the most overrated chin in history.

EDIT: This was harsh. He clearly has a very good chin, but has not faced too many big punches (not a typo) in his career. Took some hellaious shots from Lennox, granted, and had some trouble with Sanders (who got his respect, Sanders was a decent puncher though) but Hide landed nothing (and fell over from nothing) and his comeback has not seen him troubled by anyone enough to really prove his chin further IMO.

A good chin for sure, but not one of the most proven IMO.

not a KD in my opinion, he staggered him, gets him with a left, then pushes him over, the ref never counted, no KD for me.

  13. Macall, 100% pure concrete **** house.
Lewis, Tyson and Ali all had underrated chins too.
Fury is so good he chin checked himself mid fight and stood up well to himself, so I think that puts him up with the greats too
