They're great. I usually spar with slick guys who are very difficult to land headshots on so I try to touch the body quite often when I can.
I always, and I mean ALWAYS, threw a feint jab to the head then a jab to the body followed by a right to the head, it works every time bringing the arms down.
:goodThanks for the tip. I usually feint to get my opponent to react in general then throw straight punches(usually jabs) to keep my opponent on the defensive side. If he's too busy thinking about what I'm doing then he doesn't give himself enough time to throw especially since I like to lead.
well im long retired but I take it you are are still fighting :good try it on the pads first, like a three step move
This is what I mean about these General Forum teenage fanboy sluts. This was my opening post: And these are other posts made by me within this very thread: But, of course, on this forum you get a ****ing braindead **** saying you "hate jabs". :dead It would be funny if it wasn't so ****ing pathetic and ******ed. In this thread, I have cited examples of This content is protected and This content is protected as my favourite displays of a great jab at work, and this is what this embarrassing clown had to say in response: And I'm the one who "hates jabs"?! nut:nut Then again, what the **** do you expect from a guy who has This content is protected and This content is protected in his pound-for-pound top 10 of all-time!!!!!!!!! You lose.
"the jab is an effective means of defense" :rofl:rofl its quite the ****ing opposite, you've never boxed a round kid, did your trainer tell you to ignore the jab? :hey:tired a real boxer in this thread thanked me for my advice on how to use the jab.. your legacy is pretending to be an ex amateur. quote popkins "phillip ndou couldnt lay a glove on me" after I gave you a boxing lecture "what would phillip ndou beating me up prove?" ****ing bum Ike Quartey had a good jab.. but one of the best youve ever seen? jesus kid. educate yourself btw the jab is used to set up an OFFENCE, you ****ing idiot, every boxer worth their salt knows this, combination punching is set up with a JAB
In fighters with an orthodox approach (not as in right-handed, but as in conventional), yes it is. But not every fighter fights the same way. Your understanding of boxing is very rigid and narrow. Probably because you are learning at a very basic/beginners level. Roy Jones and Manny Pacquiao very often dispensed with the jab and still unleashed quality combos.
1.You have Mike Tyson and George Foreman in your p4p top 10 :yikes 2.You think Joe Calzaghe has one of the best southpaw jabs of all-time :yikes Conclusion: You're one of the least knowledgable fans on this forum, and no amount of abuse towards me is going to change that. :hi:
You continue to embarrass yourself. Let me ask you: who had the better jab, This content is protected (who has in your words got "a good jab") or This content is protected (who has in your words got "one of the best southpaw jabs of all-time") ?
