Off the top of my head, JCC-Taylor comes to mind and maybe Margarito-Cotto. What are some good examples of a guy getting beat to the punch consistently but landing harder shots to win the fight? Not necessarily something like Pacquiao-Morales II, since Pac was faster but just getting out-boxed. I'm talking about over the course of the fight, not necessarily one-punch KOs. Is it more rare to see this or vice-versa?
Corrales-Freitas Also Chavez-Taylor 2. Taylor was doing fairly well in the beginning, he still had pretty fast hands, but Chavez had the heavier hands with better punch resistance. Taylor would land a couple of shots in a flurry, Chavez would respond with one clean shot, and you could see Taylor's body sort of momentarily stop.
Hattons power beat Malignaggis speed, but then again Hattons boxing skills were better too... so it doesnt really count. there are many, many fights were the faster guy gets KOd by the stronger guy though
It's a good example and doesn't even need to be defended parenthetically. :good Hasegawa is damn fast.
