It's completely absurd that you'd include a specimen like Valuev in this. How much is a 7'2" guy supposed to weigh? We can't quantify his greatness in this era with meager measurements. It's egregious to include Niko and not Old Fat Foreman. ForemanHooook, you're starting to show some bias :bart
to be honest, we have no idea how tall valuev is or how much he weighs. in fact, we don't have any idea what he ACTUALLY looks like. what we see is simply a poor approximation based on the limits of our meager human brains and eyes. my theory is that valuev's true form is that of a constantly burning star, the adonis before us is merely the most our brains can process.
This may be true, but he also had a *****. For me, this is a deal-breaker. Prime Brigitte Nielsen though... This content is protected May have also...
Yes fought like the early and mid 80s version in 1996..Prior to that Witherspoon hadnt been a factor in the division for a decade, and was thought to be waaaaaaay past it... That year he schooled and kod the then Hot and hyped up Jorge GOnzalez.... I having WIhterspoon edging Mercer by a point.. And that wasnt a green or lazy Mercer... This was the improved version the one who fought prime Lewis ,near Prime Holyfield to basiclaly even fights... Tells you that he probably could have been a force for aloit younger and probably lost that fire after getting kod by BOnecrusher... Would have liked to see a 100% WItherspoon against PRime Tyson,Prime HOly,Bowe,Lewis etc in the early 90s... He probably would have pulled a win/upset over one of those guys. THen he got old or unmotivated again and a couple fights later was getting beat up by the likes of Brian Nielsen and Jimmy THunder.
He was fat in the 80s as champion too,and still damn good.. Him and Tubbs were to fatboys in a title fight which he won.. Also remember how funny it was to see the Fat WItherspoon(with titties sagging) knockout Mr Adonis Hulk Frank Bruno.. THe 80s had a few hws that were still world class or world beaters even when looking like bobs... WItherspoon,Tubbs,Page come to mind and a few other lesser contenders or gatekeepers Leroy Jones,James Broad,DAVID bEY ETC.
Buster Mathis Sr. I'd also give props to Two-Ton Tony Galento. He had Joe Louis on the floor then he started slugging with him and got knocked out according Whitey Bimstein who was his cutman with Ray Arcel in the corner.
