Who are some fighters who overcame a lack of power to still achieve great things? This seems a particularly impressive feat in a sport where the goal is to batter each other in unconsciousness. Two names that are sure to be up there are Locche and, though I feel he punches a little harder that he gets credit for, especially to the body, Whitaker. Who else?

I agree that Whitaker hit harder than often given credit for. Not a powerful guy, but I don't consider him a featherfist either. His left hand rocked Chavez, dropped or stopped other guys, and saved him against Hurtado.

Obviously, Maxie Rosenbloom is up there. 19 stoppage wins in 275 fights.

Tommy Loughran had to deal with frequent hand injuries, so he couldn't punch with all his power, and scored just 17 stoppage wins in 175 fights.

If we're talking about active fighters, than Ivan Calderon has got to be up there.

It's a real underappreciated style, for sure.

Sven Ottke did a real nice job in there. Aside from the Mundine ko, I don't recall him even bloodying up a guys lip or his punches causing swelling. Incredible when you subtract punching power from a guy's toolset, and a guy can still win fights. He sure doesn't get much respect these days, but he didn't hit anywhere near as hard as a Calzaghe. And still managed to win and nobody exactly walked through him or that defense.

The best have been mentioned but the biggest is definitely Zuri Lawrence. 6'4, 240 pounds, 0 KO's in 44 professional fights.
