There was a thread earlier today saying that the Featherweight division was the deepest in all of boxing. While I don't entirely agree, I do think that the division has a lot of depth, even at the top level. I just wanted to see what the majority of people think as to who the best boxer in the division is. Gamboa, Lopez, John, Caballero, Marquez, Vazquez, Rojas (anyone else?)
gamboa, this dude has amazing hand speed and the most power in the division. I truly think he's in a class of his own. The promoters avoiding a lopez vs. gamboa super match represents everything wrong w/ boxing.
1. Chris John, most accomplished so far. 2. Juan Manuel Lopez, win over Luevano put him above the rest 3. Yuriorkis Gamboa, no doubt his speed and power is awesome I'm thinking about Caballero at #3 though because I believe Yordan is a better win than Mtagwa and that guy I can't remember from South America.

Gamboa is an outstanding talent and entertaining fighter but up to now i doubt that he can beat someone like Caballero and i think Juanma blasts him away in the infight. He needs to step up in opponents class and prove something then i´d love to put him on #1. until then i´d name Juanma, John and Caballero as the top 3 and since i think Caballero would beat Juanma, John would beat Caballero and Juanma would beat John i´ll leave it at that without further ranking order..:yep
