Best fight card in this country non PPV

    I don't agree with having PPV at all - Sky customers pay a fortune to watch the sports channels. The company made £800m profit last year. They don't need to shaft paying customers further.

    Out of interest, do any other sporting events appear on PPV on Sky?

    Yeah, I guess Sky subscribers who are boxing fans are due the odd decent card for their £50 a month.

    The difference is that the big WWE PPVs are pretty much guaranteed entertainment if you like watching pro wrestling. They spend their time building up the big events to encourage people to buy the PPVs by making weekly shows to build the storylines. And their fighters actually appear more than twice a year and rarely put in a lacklustre, safety-first showing.

    Boxing could learn a lot from WWE, I think. But point taken – can you imagine if the FA cup final was on PPV?
