Take your pick. They only list 10 options, so I had to exclude fights like Lee-Lociero, Rosario-Ramirez 2, Holyfield-Dokes, Hagler-Mugabi, etc... Personally I don't rate Leonard-Hearns 1 nearly as high as a lot of others do, but I figured I'd list it anyway.
this is going to be a landslide for Hagler/Hearns 70s - Frazier/Ali I 80s - Hagler/Hearns 90s - hrmmm....do a thread for the 90s im interested in the consensus for that 00s - Castillo/Chico I
My choices would be: 50s: Moore-Durelle 1 60s: ?? 70s: Ali-Frazier 3 80s: Saad-Lopez 2, but I imagine I watched all these fights in full again I'd probably be on the fence splitting some of them apart. 90s: ?? Maybe Carbajal-Gonzalez 1, or Chavez-Taylor 1. 00s: Corrales-Castillo 1.
I have a tough time splitting that between Chacon-Limon 4. It's crazy to think that Pryor-Arguello 1, Chacon-Limon 4, and Gomez-Pintor all came within a month period in 1982.
have to go with pryor-arguello but ****, i didn't realize how many amazing fights there were in the decade!
SMH @ Leonard-Hearns 1 having as many votes as Chacon-Limon 4, Chacon-Edwards 2, and Saad-Lopez 2 combined.
Pryor-Arguello was great, great finish to that fight, but Hagler-Hearns was the best fight on that list, despite being only 3 rounds
