Because of the maximum of 10, some fights have been left off.

Hagler-Hearns - totally amazing wild brutal mayhem - one of the best fights in history let alone the 80's - maybe even top 5 in history.

Hagler-Hearns: Hearns was faced with an unstoppable demon of destruction.

Aaron Pryor vs. Alexis Arguello 1

An insane punchfest, back and forth plus some controversy with the bottle "the one he mixed" lol.. Love this fight!!

I like Hagler-Hearns more but I think Pryor-Arguello was the better fight.

Hagler/Hearns was insane. Arguello Pryor was good but Hagler and Hearns were went as hard as you can go in that first round. I don't think you could go that hard without either being stopped. And they still did it with skill and sharpness. It was not a wild brawl between no names, you could see the quality and the sharp punching, It was great! I pick Hagler/Hearns.

The first round of Arguello/Pryor I was insane too...and then they carried on fighting at a high pace for a further 13 rounds.

The 80's had great fights. Much more impressive than the 90's or the following decade.
