Chacon-Limon was the best of the 3 for me.

First of all, can I pick all 3 ??? Was Chacon ever in a bad fight ? gun is to my head I say Chacon Limon IV. That period of time truly the golden years of boxing. Someone on here mentioned Hard Rcok Green, another guy never in a bad fight. Does anyone remember the Cornelius Boza Edwards fight with Limon ? What a brutal war that was !! How could you not love Limon ! He would beat your fists down with his chin !!

1982 was the year of an NFL strike so the big 3 networks showed a lot of boxing to fill the airtime. We got to see a lot of up and coming fighters in addition to the healthy amount of boxing that was aired regardless of the strike.

Boza was my second favorite fighter behind Saad. The Boza-Limon fight is on youtube. Boza won clearly. Limon had a tremendous chin though. Before the fight, Limon classlessly mentioned the Johnny Owen death to remind Boza of what happens when a Brit comes to California for a title fight. Boza just shook the threat off and went about his business of punishing Limon.

    Arguello-Pryor 1 for me, followed by Chacon-Limon 4 and then Gomez-Pintor.

The sustained consistency and quality of the action on display in the Arguello-Pryor fight has never been topped in my opinion.

    Pryor-Arguello, then Gomez-Pintor. CL4 is a distant #3 for me.

    Gomez vs Pintor for me

I have probably watched Pryor vs Arguello the most of the 3 so call that one next

chacon vs Limon IV 3rd but not a knock on the entertainment value in any way

i'd say the Pryor vs Arguello fight simply because of the caliber of the fighters at that time in their careers . Gomez vs Pintor was excellent, but the cloak of invincibility had been stripped from Gomez by Sanchez, And Pintor was very good fighter, but nothing special. Chacon vs Limon while a entertaining fight, but both fighters best yrs were behind them.

Chacon-Limon IV, followed very closely by Gomez-Pintor and then Pryor-Arguello in third.
