Could throw Hagler-Hearns into the mix.

    Are we only talking superfights?

Or just big fights for boxing junkies?

I'd say either Sugar Ray Leonard-Thomas Hearns or Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier

Of the past few years I would say Gatti v Ward 1 or 3

    Trinidad/Vargas was money well spent.

Hagler - Leonard was also a very highly billed fight that lived up to the expectations....other than the fact I felt Hagler won....but thats another post for another time.

Was Trinidad and Vargas really hyped up?
    That was a great fight.
    Could be one of them.

recently i thought Marquez/Barrera lived up. i think there was about 1 or 2 clinches the whole time.

    Morales/Pacman trilogy definitely.

    Hagler-Hearns for me as well.

Trinidad-Vargas gets a place a bit lower on the list but decent here too.

Bowe-Holyfield 1 was no pushover either.

And who can forget Corrales-Castillo 1. Everyone expected a war but we got an instant-classic.

I enjoyed Mayweather - De La Hoya, but given the hype, it didn't live up to THAT.
