Best fight that lived up to the Hype?

    I like the Thrilla in Manilla better than the 1st fight.

    The hype in this fight is not really big going in, MAB was just recently destroyed by Pac & considered to be shot. I don't even ordered it. I say it overwhelms the hype.

    Vasquez-Marquez 1 & 2 (Hyped by dieHard fans only)
    Pavlik-Miranda(not a superfight by lived up to the hype)
    Thrilla in Manila

    Both Vazquez-Marquez fights far exceded their hype (which admittedly was hype on a miniscule scale compared to TWA, but for the level of general public name recognition these guys had beforehand - next to none - and for their weight class, they were relatively well hyped.)

    This is without a doubt, the best fight I've seen. I was just a little kid when this fight happened, and still engrained in my mind. I will never forget this fight.
