Not a list just 1 fight which you rank as the best you have ever seen.

My vote goes to Corrales vs Castillo 1

There are all sorts of classic fights like Hagler-Hearns, but as far as fights I've seen live (that is, in real time as opposed to old footage) I've gotta go with Castillo-Corrales 1.

Yeah, seeing a fight live makes a difference.

A lot of people who saw Hagler-Hearns when it happened swear it was one of the most amazing fights they've seen.

Seeing it on tape and knowing the result, I can't agree with them. I've seen plenty of fights better.

Maybe my opinion would be different if I had seen it as it occurred.

Man this is an interesting post. I was a kid when the fight happened, and I have watched it over, and over, and over to try and see what the big deal is.

No doubt it was an amazing fight, but I just dont see that it merits the attention it gets... I just dont get it.

Perhaps if I had a stake in either fighter as a fan, or watched it live, or experience the hype leading up to the fight, all this would be different.

As of now its a classic, but not THE classic its built up to be... IMO at least.

I just bought the Holyfield-Bowe trilogy, it's one of my favorites, yet I've only seen them online as of late.

    I would have to say Corrales-Castillo 1, and Gatti-Ward 1.

Graham Earl versus Katsidis was exciting.

    Carl Thompson versus Chris Eubank.

You seriously rate that as a better fight than the 1st?
