    In the Australian ranks he has been Middleweight Light Heavy and Heavy. Won the middleweight title in 1933. From 1936-1938 he was champ of all three divisions then again 1940-1940.
    Cracking fights with Hennerby.
    Best wins Lesnevich and Alabama Kid.
    2 losses to Archie Moore - 1 TKO 10 and one UD 12.

    I guess with all of his achievements at domestic level Tyszu could probably be put ahead of him. Just when i think of Australian boxing i think of Richards .

    Yeah that's why I picked him. I don't know if he could be claimed by the poles.

    If not then I think the best pole would be Dariusz Michalszewski. So I don't agree on Adamek.

    Wasnt marcel cerdan born in Algeria? So if we do count them by the country they're born in;

    Algeria - Marcel Cerdan
    Ghana - Azumah Nelson
    Nicaragua - Alexis Arguello
    Tunisia - Young Perez

    I've always subscribed to the theory that Cocoa Kid came from Cuba with the other "Kid" Chocolate.

    I think you're right about Cerdan. Where does that leave France? Rene Jacquot?
