Both Joe Louis and Lennox Lewis are ATGs and have vulnerable chins too.

    Ezzard Charles's chin wasn't exactly Oliver McCall-esque.

Anyone voting for Lewis or Jones in this thread is a ****.

My vote would go to Terry Norris. Hearns hadn't got the best of chins yeah but no way was it glass. Herbie Hide does deserve a mention too because he did actually have good skills, same goes for Kirkland Laing back in the day - he was good enough to beat Roberto Duran skills-wise but also suffered some horrible KO's to nobodies.

This is post is ****in stupid.

In most US lists he ranks in the top 5. On top of that, he was a HUGE draw over here.

Thing is, he crossed the pond and fought here, giving himself the exposure that others that have not made the trip still lack.

Get ya head out your ass, that bull**** dont apply to Lewis. Try the nationalistic **** with someone else.

Some good picks here. I don't think I really agree with the Cuevas pick, at least pre-Hearns. Before then, he actually had a real good chin. He went south pretty fast after that fight, but before that he was a tough guy.

Roger Mayweather rings a bell, also Bobo Olson's chin was maybe a little dodgy. If we're mentioning Patterson, I think it's fair to add Joe Louis, who tasted the canvas multiple times.

I was just reading an old mag, and he was considered to have the best chin in boxing pre Hearns.
